Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the manufacturer, model number, and serial number on my equipment?

Model numbers and serial numbers are required for warranty claims, repairs, and to claim rebates. The manufacturer supplies these numbers for lawn equipment. They will not be found on the purchase receipt. The numbers are located on a label that is typically affixed to the piece of equipment. The most common locations are fixed to the deck of the mower or inside the battery component area. Click here to see sample locations.   

How do I apply online?

I’ve already submitted an OPPD rebate for a different program, do I need to create a new account?

You do not need to create a new account if you have already established an existing rebate account. You can log back in or follow the “Forgot Password” steps.  

Where can I find my account number and/or account address?

Your account number is located in the top box on your OPPD bill. Your address is the "Billing information for service address" line highlighted below.

Can I submit my application through the mail?

Applications can be submitted through the mail using this form along with a copy of your proof of purchase. Applications sent via mail must be post-marked within 90 days of the purchase date on the sales receipt to qualify.  

Why can I only get one rebate for one mower and not multiple mowers?

Rebates are limited to one rebate per customer to ensure all of our customers who would like to participate have the opportunity to 

How often can I receive a rebate for an electric lawn mower?

Only one rebate for each piece of battery powered electric lawn equipment per customer every 10 calendar years. 

What is the deadline for submitting my rebate application?

Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the purchase date on the sales receipt and cannot be from before the program launch date of November 1, 2023.
