OPPD offers a number of scholarships that help students achieve their educational goals. The following provides an overview on each of those scholarships.
OPPD J. M. Harding Scholarships
- University of Nebraska at Omaha: A $2,000 scholarship, awarded to a student in the College of Engineering Technology. The scholarship is funded through OPPD’s annual Swigart Golf Invitational. For more information, please call the UNO Office of Financial Aid at (402) 554-2327.
- Creighton University: A $2,000 scholarship awarded to a student in the College of Business Administration. The scholarship is funded through OPPD's annual Swigart Golf Invitational. For more information, please contact Creighton University's Financial Aid Office at (402) 280-2731.

The Fred and Mary Jo Petersen Scholarship
The $2,000 Fred and Mary Jo Petersen Scholarship is offered yearly to communications students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. A competitive process for selecting students who meet strict academic guidelines is administered by university faculty.
