OPPD offers rebates for a range of equipment including rooftop units, heat pumps, chillers and advanced rooftop unit controllers (ARCs). Whether you're considering new construction or replacement, our HVAC rebate program makes it more financially feasible.


Important program information that applies to all HVAC-related rebates.

Universal information: Work with an OPPD Trade Ally, Rebates cover up to $100,000, itemized invoices are required for all rebates, and use our calculator to identify your rebate amount.RTU: Equipment must be higher than the 2018 IECC level to qualify (based on EER), rebate amounts range from $100 to $200 per ton, PTAC units also qualify, and AHRI certificate is required.Heat Pumps: Equipment must be higher than the 2018 IECC level to qualify (based on EER), Rebate amounts range from $100 to $200 per ton, conversion qualifies for an additional $50 per ton, all heat pump types qualify and AHRI certificate is required.

Chillers: Equipment must be higher than the 2018 IECC level to qualify (based on kBtu/sq/ton), rebate amounts range from %50 to $300 per ton, and chiller specifications noting kBtu/sq/ton are required.ARC: Must be from the approved vendor list, rebate amounts range from $135 to $207 per ton, and a three-year RTU service agreement or proof of comparable is required.
