Matt Core

Board Member Serving 2023-2028 Term Subdivision 4 All OPPD Subdivisions

Matt Core is a lieutenant with the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office. He serves as the assistant administrative commander and holds various other responsibilities within the Sheriff’s Office.

Core was elected to the OPPD Board of Directors in 2022.

He is a veteran of the United States Air National Guard. He attended Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He also earned a Certification in Public Management from the University of Nebraska - Omaha.

Core and his wife, Katy, reside in Papillion with their four children.
