Bradley (Brad) Underwood was promoted to vice president of Finance and chief financial officer in 2025. Prior to that he was serving as vice president of Systems Transformation and will now lead both areas of the organization as one integrated team.
Underwood is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling financial affairs and ensuring the financial soundness of OPPD. He oversees the corporate staff functions of financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounting, energy marketing and trading, resource planning, power supply contracting, transmission and distribution planning as well as supply chain management and transportation fleet.
Prior to joining OPPD in 2013, Underwood served in various roles for the Kiewit Companies including area business manager and providing commercial and financial oversight for teams constructing large energy infrastructure projects.
Underwood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Creighton University.
