Become A Trade Ally

To become an OPPD Trade Ally:

  1. Complete the online application to start the process.
  2. An OPPD representative will be notified of your interest and reach out to you. They will provide a link to the Rebate Program Training Video and Assessment.
  3. Watch the video.
  4. Take the Assessment (a score of 80% or higher is required on the assessment to move forward in the process).
  5. Complete and submit a Trade Ally Agreement (sent to you once training is completed and the test score has been accepted )
  6. Receive notification by OPPD of your acceptance into the program.
  7. Start entering rebates on behalf of your customers.

To become a Customer-Owned Generation Trade Ally: 

  1. Complete the online application to start the process. 
  2. Sign and submit the COG Trade Ally Agreement

Update Trade Ally Profile

  1. Email changes which include: updating company name, address, phone number, web address, email, adding new employees and removing past employees
  2. An OPPD administrator will update the changes in the system and online
  3. Check your information on OPPD.com to ensure updates are correct

NOTE: New Trade Allies will have an account added in the system. This account is theirs exclusively. If a Trade Ally changes jobs or email addresses, then their account is deactivated. If deactivated, OPPD will need to establish a new account for the Trade Ally with their new employer and/or with their new email address in order to establish a new dashboard and submit applications. Also, once deactivated, Trade Allies will no longer be able to submit applications or access information from past submittals. Deactivated accounts can be transferred to an active account on request, as long as both accounts are under the same parent company.
